Uhh I kind of just pull the names from thin air… I basically look at the character and think “okay he/she looks like a ____”! Maybe I’ll have two or three different options for names that I come up with but usually the first name that comes to mind is the one that sticks. 

If I’m having trouble coming up with anything, I run to a name generator and generate names until one catches my attention and I think “THAT’S THE NAME!!!”

Todd was one where I just immediately knew… he would be Todd lol… I don’t remember coming up with a different name. Same with Petunia. Cyril… I think I went through name lists for him and eventually picked out a name.

I generally don’t have a grand master plan with the meaning of the names… I just pick names that look right.
